Wendy Bell
QLD Choice Collective Facilitator

“Success in my role means helping people reach their goals, understand their rights and feel confident to speak up and advocate for themselves without fear of repercussion.”

Driven by a desire to make a real and meaningful difference, I chose to work in the disability sector to help empower people to take charge of their own lives. I love how at Enliven Community, there is a real sense of care and connection in what we do. It’s not only inspiring but also exciting to be part of a supportive team that is focused on creating opportunities for people to build independence.

Career highlight:
One of the most meaningful parts of my career has been supporting people as they transition into what they consider their forever home; a place that not only meets their accessibility needs but also marks the start of their journey toward greater independence.

Outside of work:
I’m an outdoors person and like to go to the beach, ride jet skis, fish with my family as well as walk my two beautiful dogs.

What super-power would you want?
The power to travel through time to see different moments from someone’s life, being able to understand their experiences and challenges from the past and the future, would give me deeper insight into their perspective.
